I'm interested in that "However..."
Keeping the military and civilians separated leads to elitist behavior. Even under the most benevolent leadership structures, military personnel will view themselves as "caretakers" at best, and "overseers" under most circumstances. With the rest viewing themselves as "zoo keepers".
But these folks aren't human, and have a very different social structure.
So yes! I'm interested in seeing how this works out!
